Air Cargo Germany is poised to step up its flights to China, having received its third Boeing 747-400 all-cargo aircraft.
The plane, which was obtained from Martinair, will be deployed chiefly on the Shanghai run as soon as the carrier obtains the licence for the aircraft from the German authorities this month.
Since it was granted traffic rights by the Chinese authorities last autumn, the German freighter operator, which is based at Hahn airport, operates four flights a week to Shanghai and another three to Hong Kong.
