Polet Airlines has introduced a twice-a-week scheduled cargo service between China, Russia and Germany, using the IL-96-400T aircraft.
The first flight from Moscow to Munich via Shanghai was welcomed by Polet’s team, forwarders, agents, media representatives, as well as Munich Airport team.
“With the recent charter flights from Asia, Polet Airlines carried mostly general cargo with the IL-96-400T, including hi-tech: electronics, PCs, laptops, but also pipes and cars,” marketing director Milenko Strika said.
Currently Polet Airlines has three aircraft with a fourth expected in spring next year. The carrier’s target is to have a fleet of six aircraft by 2013.
