Europe's Air France-KLM is boosting capacity to the Asia-Pacific region, planning to raise capacity there by 10 per cent this year.
Other increases will apply to Africa and Latin America.
The carrier and code-share partners currently operate 272 weekly flights between Paris and Amsterdam in Europe and 23 Asian destinations.
The expansion will focus on China, Japan, India, South Korea and Southeast Asia including Bangkok and Singapore.
Air France-KLM already serves five Chinese cities - Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Hangzhou - and next month will add Xiamen.
