British Airways, American Airlines, and Iberia trans-Atlantic alliance which was established in late 2010 enhance their world wide services. British Airways (BA) announced last week that it will commence non stop daily flights between London Heathrow and San Diego. The new transatlantic service from London is scheduled to begin on June 1, 2011 and will be operated with the carrier’s popular three class Boeing 777 aircraft. The daily flight will be the only route between Europe and the southern California city. In addition to passengers and their baggage, the British Airways B777 will carry up to 18 tons of cargo between London and San Diego.Israelis will be able to make a follow-on flight from Tel Aviv, via London, to San Diego. The trip leaves Tel Aviv at 8 am (Israel time), and arrives in San Diego at 6 pm, Pacific Standard Time.
