Turkish Airlines orders 15 Boeing 737s

US plane maker Boeing Co has confirmed an order for 15 next generation 737s with Turkish Airlines, reported Reuters.

The order would be worth more than US$1.2 billion, on the basis of the average list price of the planes.

Boeing said the order comprised of 10 737-800s and five 737-900ERs.

 

Boeing has so far received orders from 14 customers for a total of 305 737-900ERs, the newest member of the 737 family.
