Isabella Shipping Launches Texas-Colombia Service

Isabella Shipping has begun its Tex-Col Express service, which offers U.S. Gulf exporters direct service between Port Freeport in Texas and Cartagena, Colombia.   The fixed-day route departs from Freeport on Thursdays and arrives in Cartagena on Mondays. The full rotation also includes Turbo, Colombia, and Puerto Moin, Costa Rica.   The service is initially being offered biweekly, with plans to convert it to a weekly service as soon as cargo volume warrants the upgrade.   Isabella Shipping is deploying its newly acquired CV100 vessels for the service.   The Journal of Commerce
