5/31/2013 9:27:00 AM

The Ports of Auckland, New Zealand, cheered Maersk Line’s announcement that the Southern Star service will return to Auckland with larger ships.

The service moved from Auckland to Tauranga, New Zealand, during the dispute with the Maritime Union in December 2011.

The new rotation is Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia; Singapore; Brisbane, Australia; Auckland and Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, New Zealand; and back to Tanjung Pelepas.
