MOL and GT Nexus have announced the general market availability of Contract Viewer, an on-demand solution that enables MOL customers to access their fully digitised MOL service contracts, including real-time rates, surcharges, service terms and amendments.
In 2003, the two companies jointly developed the on-demand GT Nexus Global Price Management System to manage MOL’s confidential customer contracts.
MOL has used this technology to standardise and automate its contract administration by using a centralised rate repository system, structured and normalised data across all contracts, a web interface, direct filing with the FMC, and integration to the its booking and documentation systems for auto-rating.
The MOL Contract Viewer tool pulls fully calculated rate information directly from the MOL Global Price Management Platform in real-time, giving customers full access to current rates, surcharges, service terms, and amendments. Advanced search utilities allow customers to quickly retrieve rates based on effective date, commodity, geography, and equipment.
The service is currently available to MOL’s North American customers and will be rolled out to other MOL regions in early-2007.
