The WorldWide Alliance, a network of neutral non-vessel-operating common carriers, has expanded its less-than-containerload services by adding nine countries to its global coverage.
Central America will benefit the most from this development, with alliance member Panama Consolidation Services spreading from its original territory in Panama by adding new offices in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Costa Rica. In addition, several alliance members have opened new locations in Slovakia (SACO Shipping), Bolivia (SSL), and Romania and Pakistan (Shipco Transport).
“The core of what we do revolves around providing extensive global coverage and a growing list of neutral direct services,” said Robert Zorzi, managing director of the alliance, in a statement.
Founded in 2007, the WorldWide Alliance now represents 157 offices in 70 countries, offering more than 2,050 direct weekly LCL export services.
