Carriers announce new Southeast Asia services

   "K" Line said it will launch two new services this month to enhance service between Japan and the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia.
  

The JASECO-4 service will commence operation March 12 in Singapore with four 4,200-TEU ships and have a rotation of TokyoYokohamaNagoyaKobeSingaporeJakartaSingapore – Ho Chi Minh – Tokyo. Hapag Lloyd (which calls it the JSJ) and NYK (which calls it the Leo Service) will also participate.


   The JASECO-5 service will commence operation March 17 in Singapore with four 2,500-TEU ships and have a rotation of OsakaYokkaichi - NagoyaShimizuTokyoYokohamaKobe - Manila – Ho Chi Minh – SingaporeManilaOsaka. NYK will also participate and will call it the Meteor Service.
