RUSSIA's AirBridgeCargo Airlines is commencing twice weekly, Boeing 747-8 freighter service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, via Amsterdam Schiphol and Moscow Sheremetyevo.
As previously announced, the cargo airline is also starting freighter flights from Frankfurt to Chicago.
"Chicago has been a very successful route for us since we commenced services on the route in 2012, and the extra B747F flight a week from O'Hare International Airport will provide welcome additional capacity for our customers," said company president Denis Ilin.
"Expanding services in the US market is a logical step in the airline's development and means we can increase our ability to offer fast and efficient freight deliveries for customers doing business in North America, Europe, Asia and Russia."
According to the carrier's officials, since the Chicago flights were launched in 2012, tonnage from North America has increased by 12 per cent, while activity to the region is up four per cent.
