Emirates Shipping launches two new services

Emirates Shipping Line has announced the launch of two new services - the Gulf Indian-Subcontinent Africa Service (GIA) and the Africa Far-east Asia Service (AFA).

The new GIA service offers a direct scheduled weekly service from the Indian Subcontinent & the Middle East to East Africa, providing one of the best transit times to East Africa.

The GIA port rotation is: Nhava Sheva > Karachi > Jebel Ali > Mombasa > Dar Es Salaam > Mombassa > Nhava Sheva.

The new AFA service connects the orient to the two major ports in East Africa, with one of the best transit times from China & Southeast Asia to East Africa.

The AFA serves Xingang, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Klang, Colombo, Dar Es Salaam, Mombasa. This service will use a combination of Emirates Shipping Line’s Hyper Galex service and the AFA service over Colombo

Six 1,100 TEU vessels will be deployed, one provided by operational partner TS Line, and five by Emirates Shipping Line.
