US-African air summit

The USA and African nations will discuss ways of increasing the number of weekly flights between the two regions at the US-Africa air transportation summit to be held from 6-8 June in Miami FL (USA).   United States Commercial Services contends that there are only 36 direct weekly flights between the USA and Africa. The summit also aims to assist African nations in improving to category 1 status and help US and African parties achieve success in bilateral negotiations.   Source:  International Transport Journal
