MTL to develop Qingdao terminal

Logistics and terminal operator Modern Terminals Limited (MTL) has struck a deal with Qingdao Port Authority to develop a large scale container terminal in Dongjiakuo Port, Qingdao, capital city of Shandong province, NewsTrak Daily reported.   The total investment will amount to US$1.2 billion. The dock has a 20-kilometre coastal line, spanning land area of 38 square kilometres.   The project will build over 50 berths and the cargo throughput is expected to reach 20 million tonnes in 2015.   CargoNewsAsia
