More DHL layoffs

Deutsche Post subsidiary DHL Global Business Services has confirmed another 130 or so DHL Express job losses at its Wilmington, Columbus, USA plant.   Until this year, the air park in Wilmington was the DHL Express super-hub in the United States.   On Nov. 10, DHL Express announced it is to exit the US domestic freight market and focus on its international shipments to and from America.   Pickup and delivery of DHL’s US domestic packages will end January 30 2009.   Aircargo Asia Pacific
