OOCL announced improved service to Israel

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), represented in Israel by Israel Scandinavian Maritime Agency Ltd, announced last week changes to its Asia to West Mediterranean Service which will allow the company to upgrade its services to Israel.   Within the new service, the company's Asia Black Sea Express (ABX) will call at the Egyptian port of Damietta on bi-weekly frequency which will allow doubling the capacity from the Far East to Israel.   Asia Black Sea Express (ABX) will accept export cargo via Damietta to destinations in the Black Sea – Turkey, Ukraine, Romania as well as Russia.   ABX new rotation for Israeli export and import cargo, are as follows:   In the Far East: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore.
