Schenker Vietnam has opened its flagship facility in Song Than Industrial Park I of Binh Duong Province, a 10,000 m2 facility will function as a key logistics hub for the Vietnam market.
The US$5.5 million investment jointly with Vietnamese partner Gemadept Corporation marks a significant milestone for both organisations in the fast growing Vietnam market.
According to Schenker CEO Steve Dearnley, the facility will be an integral hub in the company's regional and global network, as it continues to strengthen its logistics footprint in Vietnam, Asia-Pacific and the rest of the world.
DB Schenker first entered the Vietnamese market in 1990, and has since grown into a 200-strong country organisation across six locations throughout Vietnam.
