Evergreen sets up own agency in South Africa

The Evergreen Group will establish its own liner agency company, Evergreen Agency [South Africa] (ESA), in Johannesburg.   The company's branch offices in Cape Town and Durban has already begun operations.   Evergreen established ESA as a joint venture with long-standing partner and agent, Green Africa Shipping, in recognition of the potential market and its strategic location in Africa. To maintain continuity with customers and to ensure a smooth transition of business, ESA will be staffed by many former Green Africa Shipping employees.     Eyefortransport
