Israeli ocean carrier, Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. announced that from the end of July it will call at the Spanish inland river port of Seville, substituting Cadiz.
The Seville port’s proximity to major industrial centers creates a significant advantage to importers and exporters, reducing land transportation expenses.
ZIM’s CEO, Rafi Danieli, said: “ZIM is constantly striving to improve its services in ways that benefit its customers. The new feeder service is an excellent solution for our customers and we are confident that it will be well received”.
The weekly feeder service began on Saturday July 25th, with the following schedule:
Barcelona (Tuesday), Tarragona (Tuesday), Seville (Saturday), Barcelona (Tuesday), Tarragona (Tuesday)
Additionally, beginning next month, ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. will also serve the port of Almeira in southern Spain, further expanding service options to its customers.
