Evergreen Hikes Europe to Mediterranean Rates

Evergreen Line is increasing its rates from European ports to ports along the Mediterranean, beginning Oct. 1.   From European base ports of Le Havre, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Thamesport to Mediterranean Sea ports, rates will increase $75 per 20-foot equivalent unit and $150 per 40-foot equivalent unit. From all European out ports, including those in the Scandinavian and Baltic area, to Mediterranean Sea ports, rates will rise $150 per TEU and $450 per FEU.   The increases apply to all cargo and commodities, including reefers and special equipment.   The Journal of Commerce Online
