CMA CGM FAS Vietnam service – Maiden call in Saigon Premier Container Terminal

Today, CMA CGM has announced the maiden call of its 1,216 TEU vessel, the ASTA RICKMERS, on its FAS Vietnam Service in the Port of Saigon Premier Container Terminal.   Saigon Premier Container Terminal (SPCT) is located 15km south of Hồ Chí Minh city with state-of-the art equipment and terminal operating system. SPCT will soon have extensive and high quality reefer and cargo care facilities.   This maiden call will be part of the FAS Vietnam Service, which will now call at Phước Long, Cát Lái and SPCT, the three Hồ Chí Minh City ports and Port Kelang in Malaysia.   “Saigon Premier Container Terminal is a milestone in Việt Nam commercial development. With this new modern and international standard facility, CMA CGM will reinforce its services and volumes in Hồ Chí Minh city area, providing customers the best transit time,” said Ludovic Renou, General Director, CMA CGM Vietnam.       VietnamShipper
