11/17/2009 9:39:40 AM

CMA CGM has announced a general rate increase on freight from the United States and Canada to Australia and New Zealand.

CMA CGM will apply the latest general rate increase effective Dec. 1 “to provide its customers with the same reliable and efficient services to which they are accustomed.”

For all cargo moving from Canada or U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast ports to Australia and New Zealand, the increase will be $150 per 20-foot container and $300 per 40-foot container.
