CSAV Norasia will expand the coverage of its independently-operated India-Middle East-Europe Express Service, effective in early May.
The weekly IMEX will now include a direct call at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the eastbound leg, opening a link between North Europe and the Red Sea region.
The revised rotation will be Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Port Said, Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Karachi, Nhava Sheva (Jawaharlal Nehru), Mundra, Port Said, Malta, and back to Rotterdam.
The upgraded service offers a transit time of 11 days between Antwerp and Jeddah.
The first vessel to Jeddah will be the CSAV Jura, scheduled to arrive on May 11.
Chile-based CSAV currently operates the IMEX with seven vessels of 4,700 20-foot equivalent units capacity.
