CMA CGM's Victory Bridge's upgraded service will start calling at the Port of Miami in November, providing a new service linking North Europe to the U.S. East Coast and Mexico, according to the port.
The upgraded Victory Bridge service is a vessel-sharing agreement with the Chilean carrier CSAV. The service deploys five vessels with capacities of 3,000 20-foot equivalent units apiece, of which the French carrier will provide three and the Chilean carrier two.
The new service sailed from Le Havre, France on Oct. 17 and will arrive in Miami for the first time on Nov. 3.
The service, which will call twice weekly in Miami, is expected to add approximately 35,000 TEUs to Miami’s annual volumes.
The rotation of the New Victory Bridge service will be: Le Havre, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Charleston, Miami, Vera Cruz, Altamira, Houston, Miami and back to Le Havre.
