CSAV said it will restart its services to West Africa next month with the introduction of the West Africa Explorer service between South Africa and Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin, and Nigeria.
The service, which is fully operated by the Chilean carrier, will deploy four vessels, each with a capacity of 1,800 20-foot equivalent container units.
The West Africa Explorer will start service with the sailing of the San Adriano from Durban in South Africa on Dec. 12 on the following port rotation: Durban, Abidjan, Tema, Cotonou, Lagos and back to Durban, where it will connect with CSAV services to Asia, the Middle East and East Coast of South America.
