A new transpacific service offered by Hainan PO Shipping and TS Lines has begun operating, according to ComPair Data.
The two lines’ TP1 service, with a rotation of Ningbo, Shanghai, Long Beach, Oakland and Ningbo, will operate with five vessels with an average capacity of 2,865 TEUs. The first sailing on the service will also include calls at Qingdao and Busan.
Hainan PO’s and TS Lines’ first transpacific service, the CAE, has been renamed TP2. That service has a rotation of Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen, Busan, Long Beach, Oakland and Hong Kong.
The third service, dubbed TP3, begins May 12, and will link Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, and Busan with Long Beach and Oakland.
