China Shipping Container Lines and United Arab Shipping Company entered a slot swap agreement for their services operating on Asia-Europe trade routes.
The agreement, which involves CSCL’s AEX7 Service and UASC’s AEC2 Service, will cover 500 slots a week.
The AEX7 rotation is Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Hong Kong, Yantian, Port Kelang, Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Port Kelang, and back to Shanghai.
The first vessel under the agreement on the AEX7 will be the CSCL Jupiter, departing Shanghai on May 21.
The AEC2 rotation is Qingdao, Pusan, Shanghai, Xiamen, Yantian, Ho Chi Minh City, Port Kelang, Jeddah, Algeciras, Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Port Said, Jeddah, Port Kelang, and back to Qingdao.
The slot arrangement on the AEC2 will take effect with the sailing of the MV Hatta from Qingdao on May 20.
