Korean container line Hanjin Shipping will launch an Asia-Pacific to West India direct service in late October.
The India-China service will be jointly operated with Evergreen and NYK from Oct. 29 and will include calls at terminals in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Korea as well as Shanghai and Ningbo in China, and Nhava Sheva and Pipavav in India.
NYK will deploy three 2,500 TEU capacity vessels with Evergreen and Hanjin each supplying two vessels of the same capacity.
The 35-day round voyage will rotate: Busan – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Nhava Sheva – Pipavav – Colombo – Singapore – Hong Kong (1 Round Voyage: 35 Days)
