Four ocean carriers are teaming up to jointly launch a new service between ports the U.S. East Coast and Brazil in March.
Evergreen Line, NYK Line, Hanjin and Hyundai Merchant Marine will deploy six vessels on Atlantic North South Service, each with a capacity of 2,100 20-foot equivalent units. NYK will deploy three vessels on the service, and Evergreen, Hanjin and HMM will each deploy one.
The new ANS service will kick off from Norfolk on March 22 with a 42-day port rotation covering: Norfolk, New York, Savannah, Miami, Caucedo, Santos, Navegantes, Rio De Janeiro, Vitoria, Caucedo and back to Norfolk.
