"MOL Performance", a 5,500 TEU container ship registered in Panama and owned by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), called last week at Ashdod Port. The Ashdod port calling was the first MOL vessel under the G6 alliance agreement.

The G6 Alliance agreement include: APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, MOL, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL).

The vessel serves the weekly Asia-Black Sea Express Service (ABX) operated by nine container vessels, three of which owned by MOL, four by OOCL and two by APL. The service is available from the Far East, en route to the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
