U.S. Lines will implement a general rate increase for dry container cargo from Canada to North Asia and Southeast Asia, effective April 1.
The increase on the ocean carrier’s Columbus service will be in the amount of US$160 per 20-foot container and US$200 per 40-foot standard and high-cube and 45-foot container.
The increase will come in addition to the previously announced March 1 increase ex Vancouver.
Separately, U.S. Lines again postponed an increase from U.S. West Coast origins.
