Wan Hai ups Asia-Mideast reefer rate US$500/TEU, China-Singapore up $50

TAIWAN's Wan Hai Lines is to implement a rate restoration on refrigerated cargo from Asia effective March 15. Reefer rates will be US$50 per TEU and $100 per FEU from China, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand to other Asian destinations. Rates will also increase $500 per TEU and $1,000 per FEU from Asia origins to Middle East. There will also be a $300 per TEU and a $600 per FEU increase from Asia to India and Pakistan.  Asian Shipper News
