Golden Myanmar Air flies daily between Mandalay and Singapore's Changi

Golden Myanmar Airlines has begun daily services connecting Singapore via Yangon to Mandalay, the financial capital of Myanmar, the Changi Airport Group (CAG) announced. Mandalay is a new city link for Changi Airport and brings to 47 the number of cities in Southeast Asia that the Lion City's airport is connected to. The new service by Golden Myanmar Airlines further enhances Changi Airport's position as a key gateway to the region. Bilateral trade between Singapore and Myanmar increased 8.6 per cent in 2012 year on year and the commencement of Golden Myanmar's flights to Singapore comes at an opportune time as Myanmar steps up efforts to accelerate social-economic development in the country, CAG said.
