China Southern launches Urumqi-Jeddah service

China Southern Airlines has announced a new service to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which flies from Urumqi in the nation’s northwest to Sharjah before continuing onwards to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport.   This new China Southern Airlines’ Urumqi-Sharjah-Jeddah service is the airline’s first operation to this Arabian port city as part of the airline’s strategy in further expanding its international flight network.   The CZ329 flight from Urumqi to Sharjah and Jeddah will deploy Boeing 737 aircraft three times a week.   Source:  Hong Kong Shipping Gazette
