Air New Zealand to centralize cargo reservations

6/29/2007 3:05:26 PM

Air New Zealand Cargo has decided to close its Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne sales offices and appoint sales representatives to service the market.

Perth and Adelaide will now be managed from Melbourne.
Cairns and Brisbane will be managed from Brisbane.
All cargo reservations will now be handled electronically by head office in Auckland.

The Sydney cargo sales office will stay open and Vicky Park will remain regional cargo manager Australia, along with present staffing.
The move is along similar strategy applied to the carrier’s passenger market and makes maximum use of developing technology.
