Famous Pacific Shipping (FPS) has launched a new subsidiary in Indonesia, dedicated to household removal and personal relocation services.
Based at FPS Indonesia’s HQ in Jakarta, FPS Movers provides a fully integrated package of relocation services including pre-move surveys and advice, packing, storage and shipment, and assistance in the destination country.
FPS Movers is the first company within FPS’s global network to offer this niche cargo management service, and will be working with FIDI and FAIM accredited agents.
According to FPS chairman Iskandar Zulkarnain, rapid economic development in Asia has seen a dramatic increase in the number of expats relocating throughout the region.
“With our strong presence throughout Asia, the FPS Group is in an excellent position to support individuals faced with the upheaval that is associated with relocating work, home and family,” said Zulkarnain. “Our commitment is to facilitate the relocation as efficiently as possible, help make the transition as smooth as possible and assist in the settling-in process at the destination.”
Famous Pacific Shipping’s global network now includes 43 individual companies from 22 different countries working together under the FPS banner.
