1/26/2008 10:17:28 AM

German flagship airline Lufthansa plans to actively use the open skies agreement made last year and is considering starting flights from Italy's Milan-Malpensa airport.

Lufthansa is considering offering transatlantic and European flights from Milan-Malpensa and base several aircraft at this location.

A Lufthansa spokesman said Lufthansa already plans to station aircraft at Milan-Malpensa from April. He said there is a general interest in Italy as one of the most attractive European markets.
