In Finland, the Port of Kotka is investing over US$29.3 million in port expansion.
The biggest single investment, at a cost of $20.5 million, is extension of the Mussalo B dock by 300m and dredging the water area leading to it to a depth of 13m.
Terramare has been awarded the contract to carry out the dredging and work will start in early March 2008.
The Hietanen port will get a new 50m stretch of new loading dock space. A competitive bidding will be arranged for capping the container field with power plant ash.
