FEFC increases BAF, CAF for June

The Far East Freight Conference carriers will increase their bunker and currency adjustment factors for June.    The BAF applicable to the trades to and from the United Kingdom, Northwest Continent, Scandinavia and Baltic Sea and also the Mediterranean and West Coast European region will rise to $546 per TEU, from $509 per TEU.    The currency adjustment factor applicable for the month will change to 18.2 percent, from 17.7 percent.    The 17 FEFC member lines are ANL Container Lines, APL, CMA CGM, CSAV Norasia, Egyptian International Shipping Co., Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, Maersk Line, Mediterranean Shipping Co., MISC Berhad, MOL, NYK, OOCL, Safmarine, Yang Ming and Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd.
