Airbus pays Emirates $110m for A380 delays

Franco-German plane maker Airbus has paid Emirates Airline US$110m in the past year for damages caused as a result of delays in deliveries of its new A380 aircraft.   Emirates is Airbus' biggest single customer for the A380, with 58 units on order.   Emirates will take delivery of another five A380s by the end of May with another 12 arriving in 2009-10.   CargonewsAsia
