The 12 ocean shipping lines serving the trade from Asia to Canada within the Canada Transpacific Stabilization Agreement from July 1 will change their fuel recovery surcharges and currency adjustment factor to the following amounts:
• $904 (from $832) per 20-foot container. • $1,130 (from $1,040) per 40-foot container. • $1,271 (from $1,170) per 40-foot, high-cube container. • $1,431 (from $1,317) per 45-foot container. • $25 (from $23) weight-measure adjustment. • The CAF will become 8 percent, instead of 7 percent.
CTSA carriers are APL, COSCO Container Lines, Evergreen Line, Hanjin Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, “K” Line, MOL, NYK Line, OOCL, Yang Ming and Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd.
