Maersk adds Hamburg to Europe service

Maersk Line has added a Hamburg port call to their Asia-Europe 8 service (AE8), increasing their direct services between Taiwan, east and south China and Hamburg.   The first vessel in the new rotation will be the Maersk Sarnia, with an estimated time of departure from Shanghai on August 30 and estimated arrival in around a month later in Hamburg on September 29.   At the same time, the Southampton call has been removed from the AE8 service.   The AE8 port calls are Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia, and Hamburg.   CargonewsAsia
