After earlier launching charter flights from Taipei to Shizuoka, China Airlines now plans to inaugurate charter flights from Kaohsiung to Shizuoka. From July 2 to September 28, the new service, CI-7726/ CI-7727, will fly between Kaohsiung and Shizuoka every fifth day, for a total of 23 round trips. The new charter service provides greater convenience for passengers from southern Taiwan who wish to visit Shizuoka.
CAL is cooperating with travel agencies to provide favorable packages to accompany the flights. The July 2 maiden flight from Kaohsiung to Shizuoka will depart at 09:30, and arrive in Shizuoka at 13:55. The flight time is about 3 hours and 25 minutes. CAL will operate a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a total of 158 economy-class seats on the service.
