The Latvian airline airBaltic has increased the frequency of flights in the summer season of 2009 on the routes from Riga to Dublin, Kaliningrad, Palanga, Tallinn and Vienna.
From June and every day except Saturdays, an additional flight is operated to Tallinn (totally up to 7 flights a day). But starting from July, an additional flight is offered on several routes: to Dublin on Wednesdays (totally 5 flights a week), to Vienna on Thursdays (totally 5 flights a week), and to Kaliningrad on Sundays (totally 5 flights a week).
In order to delight those who love the sun and the sea, airBaltic offers also six additional flights to Palanga, the sea resort city in Lithuania, starting from July (totally 14 flights a week).
In the summer of 2009, airBaltic has already added 11 cities to its destination map: Palanga, Kaunas (both in Lithuania), Tartu (Estonia), Turku (Finland), Linkoping (Sweden), Tromso (Norway), Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Geneva (Switzerland), Warsaw (Poland), Pskov (Russia), and Frankfurt (Germany).
