RwandAir, the national carrier of Rwanda, has signed a network wide code share agreement with Ethiopian Airlines.
The agreement will allow RwandAir to sell tickets on flights operated by Ethiopian Airlines, as well as allowing its customers to book seats on non competing routes.
According to the CEO of RwandAir, Gerald Zirimwabagabo, it is a great opportunity for the airline and Rwandans to have this partnership.
The agreement comes three months after RwandAir announced it will purchase two Canadiair CRJ aircraft by the end of this year and soon after the opening of a new sales office in Nairobi, Kenya.
