DHL has announced the launch of direct LCL service from Shenzhen to Gothenburg, enhancing its connectivity between Scandinavia and Southern China.
Operated by DHL's in-house carrier, Danmar Lines, the new route is an addition to DHL's existing direct LCL services from Shenzhen to Europe and the US.
The new weekly service enables cargo to be shipped directly to Gothenburg instead of being routed via Hong Kong, which shaves up to eight days off transit time.
Gothenburg is the largest port in Sweden and North Europe, and offers easy access to other ports and inland cities in Sweden through established road and rail networks.
From the Gothenburg terminal, shipments can be further distributed throughout Sweden via DHL's trucking network.
