El Al commences flights to Turkey

El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. has announced the renewal of flights to Turkey.   El Al cancelled its daily flight to Istanbul last year after the Israeli security authorities imposed total ban on the Israeli carriers from making daytime flights to Istanbul.   Beginning March 2010, El Al will operate a daily flight to Istanbul via a Turkish airline, AtlasJet, whose aircraft will be converted for Israeli passenger service. Atlasjet is a low-fare Turkish airline owned by two large Turkish tour operators, Etstur and Öger Tours.   Port2Port
