Etihad adds Australian frequencies

2/22/2010 9:50:50 AM

Etihad has been okayed for up to seven additional weekly flight frequencies between Abu Dhabi, UAE and Australia, serving gateways including its existing ports, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The new services become available from next month, and the agreement will also see the rights for a further seven weekly Etihad flights from March 2011, taking the carrier's total weekly frequencies to 35.

Etihad said it also had rights for seven more weekly Australian services that fly via or into a regional airport.
