Air Cargo Germany (ACG) has added a third Jumbo freighter to its fleet - a Boeing Converted Freighter that increase the carrier's uplift capacity by one third.
According to ACG management, a fourth Jumbo B747-400F will be acquired during the second half of this year.
"With our decision to operate a third freighter we are giving the air cargo market a very clear signal that we are pursuing a long-term strategy of continuous expansion," said ACG's CEO Michael Bock.
The new freighter will operating mainly between Frankfurt/Hahn and the Chinese gateway Shanghai, increasing the number of flights on this trunk route.
After landing four times a week at the international airport Pudong, the carrier will now offer daily roundtrips between both airports.
In addition to the Shanghai flights, ACG serves Hong Kong three times a week.
