China cuts cargo, passenger traffic forecasts

The General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) has amended its air traffic forecasts for 2011 to show zero airfreight growth this year.

 

The passenger growth forecast has been cut from 13 per cent to eight per cent this year (288 million passengers - some 13.4 million fewer passenger than previously anticipated).

 

Air cargo growth has been revised from 11.5 per cent down to 'flat'.
